Australia Day 2022
OmniTitan had the pleasure of helping produce the Australia Day 2022 public event directed by Townsville City Council, we were able to put together a show with multiple cameras, microphones, and graphics. Also working at the same event was a partner business, NQ Production, who handled the Public Announcement system, LED screens, and Staging.
Shaan Braun was directing the production with Emily Labelak being an assistant director. Emily worked as a point of contact between OmniTitan and the Townsville City Council throughout the rehearsals as well as during the event. Alec Doherty ran vision under Shaan’s direction, with his control on vMix and the ATEM Switcher which helped provide a high-quality video feed.
Geoffrey Compton mixed the Front of House audio working alongside Daniel Harley who operated audio for the live stream. Both audio operators used Allen Heath SQ mixers for this event. This hardware helped with the separation of audio from live and online which is imperative for quality production, creating a unique experience for varying viewing platforms.
