Sports Livestreaming - Queensland Wrestling Alliance

Wrestling fans in Townsville were treated to something special with the Queensland Wrestling Alliance’s first 18+ event, Palm Trees & Pile Drivers, at The Warehouse. The Warehouse’s gritty, underground vibe complimented the high-octane energy the wrestlers brought. This wasn’t just a wrestling show, it was an experience. For the first time ever, QWA brought OmniTitan Productions on board to livestream it.

Four Cameras. Zero Missed Moments.
To capture the intensity of pro wrestling to viewers at home, we designed a four-camera setup for maximum coverage of the wrestling storylines. Two fixed cameras provided wide shots of the ring and the surrounding chaos, including the brawls that happened next to the ring. These cameras were perfect for the chaotic Battle Royale match, which saw 7 wrestlers facing off at the same time

The real magic came from our two roaming cameras. Positioned close to the action, they captured every walkout, suplex, and top rope move. From entrances full of personality to mid-match reactions, these cameras gave fans the close-up drama they love.

Live Switching and Real-Time Storytelling

Behind the scenes, our director managed the live feed with precision. Using a vision switcher, they cut between cameras in real time to follow the action wherever it went. Whether it was a flying elbow or trash talk between the wrestlers and commentators, the livestream kept up with every exciting turn.

Spotlight for Sponsors

We also included sponsor overlays in the stream. Strong viewer engagement and screen time made the stream a powerful platform for local businesses to get noticed. Every sponsor featured in the broadcast got the visibility they deserved.

Sound That Pulled You In

To make the livestream fully immersive, we included audio from the event MC along with two commentators. Their banter, insights, and hype brought the stream to life and gave fans the feeling of being right there in the venue.

Ready for the Next Round
Despite unfortunate circumstances causing chaos and a delay to the show’s start time, it didn’t affect our setup or workflow. This was the first QWA event we’ve streamed, and it won’t be the last. From palm trees to piledrivers, we’re ready for more.
